Torrey Pines Landscape Company's pick for an "Early Bird's Special"

Thinking ahead ......reserve your space for December nights with the SDFA and Oasis.

Don’t miss out on seeing the fabulous annual San Diego Floral Association Festival of Trees and the rest of December Nights’ celebrations because of traffic and difficult parking. San Diego Floral has arranged through Oasis, Lifelong Learning, for a bus trip to get you there early, have an exclusive tour of the trees while you enjoy refreshments, and leave you plenty of time to visit other attractions including free entrance to all park museums, international food booths, concerts, and much more. You must register with Oasis to participate in this trip. OASIS is a pioneer in the field of successful aging, offering programs of continued lifelong learning, healthy lifestyles and civic engagement for people age 50 and over.

The bus trip offered through OASIS, Life Long Learning Center, to Balboa Park on December 7,  3:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. is $30. No other expense applies.  The trip, which includes an exclusive tour by San Diego Floral Association of the Festival of Trees, has only 20 spaces left.

The bus will  leave for the park at 3:15 p.m. from the Mission Valley Bennigan’s lot on the east side of the Macy’s building. The bus will pick people up in  Balboa Park  where they are left off for a departure time of around 8 p.m.

The travel planner at Oasis, Monica Omark, says that Day Trip registration is only available by mail or in person with cash or checks only.  Her phone number is 619-574-0156.
Don’t miss out because the bus is full. Register early!

If you are unable to ride the bus, we hope you will visit the Festival of the Trees on your own. The exhibit will open to the public at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7. There will be plenty of Protea and boxes of Gingerbread Cookies for you. The theme this year is “Carols and Songs of the Seasons.” We hope you will visit the display of decorated trees!
